Sneakershyllan purchases items directly from its selling customers. This means the Seller does not have to wait for the product to be sold to an end customer before getting paid. Selling customers are hereafter referred to as Seller.

HOW TO SELL

A Seller can have an item assessed in one of two ways

  • By visiting any Sneakershyllan store for an in-person valuation.
  • By completing the online form on the website to receive a digital price offer.
CONDITIONS FOR SELLING

By submitting an item in-store or via the online form, the Seller confirms and agrees that:

  • They are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian.
  • They are the legal and rightful owner of the item.
  • All information provided about the item is accurate and truthful.
  • Only their own contact details are submitted – no third-party information may be used.
  • Sneakershyllan reserves the right to request proof of authenticity.
  • Sneakershyllan has full discretion to determine if an item is eligible for sale and may reject any item.
  • Sneakershyllan is not liable for items lost, damaged, or stolen during transit to the store.

A Seller must always present a valid ID when selling an item.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Valuations are based on several factors, including:

  • Condition of the item
  • Time required for cleaning and handling the item
  • Past sales history of same or similar items
  • Current stock and seasonality
  • Customer demand (which may differ from international markets)

The valuation is non-negotiable, whether via email or in-store discussions.

When submitting an online form, a price range is typically given, as item condition can’t be fully assessed through images alone. A final offer will be provided once the item has been inspected in person.

SHIPPING THE ITEM

If the Seller chooses to ship the item, they are responsible for shipping costs and assume the risk for the item until it has been delivered to Sneakershyllan.

IF THE ITEM IS NOT APPROVED

If the item condition differs significantly from the description in the form, Sneakershyllan may issue a new offer.

Sneakershyllam reserves the right to fully reject the item if the condition is misrepresented or if the item is found to be counterfeit. The Seller is then responsible for return shipping or arranging pickup.

RIGHT TO WITHDRAW

The Seller may choose to accept or decline the offer. Once the offer is accepted:

  • A receipt is issued.
  • Payment is initiated
  • Sneakershyllan becomes the legal owner of the item.

There is no right of withdrawal once a receipt has been created.

PAYMENT

Payment is made via one of the following:

  • Swish
  • Bank transfer

Conditions:

  • The account must be registered in the Seller’s name.
  • It is the Seller’s responsibility to provide correct payment information.
  • Sneakershyllan is not liable for incorrect or missing payments due to inaccurate details provided by the Seller.
TIME FOR PAYMENT

Payments are issued by Sneakershyllan on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, excluding public holidays. Funds will be visible in the Sellers account within 1–5 business days, depending on the payout method.

Example: The payment for a seller that has sold on a Monday will be issued on the following Wednesday, sold on Wednesday will be issued the following Friday etc.

International payments are only available to EU-based accounts.

Trade

When choosing a trade, the Seller receives a store credit value instead of a direct payout.

  • The store credit is typically around 20% higher than the amount offered as a cash payout.
  • The credit can be used as a form of payment and can be redeemed immediately for a purchase at the time of drop-off.
  • If the purchase amount exceeds the Seller’s store credit, the Seller may simply pay the difference at checkout.

Store Credit Card

If the Seller prefers to save the credit for a later purchase, they may choose to receive a Store Credit Card instead.

At the time of drop-off, the applicable usage channel – either online or in-store – is determined by the Seller together with the Sneakershyllan staff.

Once issued, the store credit is bound to the chosen channel and cannot be transferred or used interchangeably between the webshop and physical store. It is therefore important to make this decision at the time of drop-off.

IN-STORE

Store credit intended for in-store use is issued digitally and sent to the Seller’s provided email address.

ONLINE

Store credit intended for online use is credited directly to the Seller’s profile in o the website and is accessible upon login.

period of validity

The store credit card is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
Please note: Store credit can never be exchanged for cash or refunded at a later time
