Trivia Released in 2001, the Air Jordan 16 “Ginger” was the first Jordan 16 colorway to release without the model’s signature removable gaiter. Designed by Wilson Smith III, its white leather and mesh upper is paired with distinctive Ginger accents, giving Michael Jordan’s sixteenth signature shoe a cleaner, more casual look.
